State Audit Organization of Lao People's Democratic Republic
Background
On August 19, 2015 Chairman of BPK held a meeting with the President of the State Audit Organization of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (SAO) in the SAO office, Vientiane. One result of the Minutes of Meeting which was signed by the Chairman of BPK and President of SAO is to hold a bilateral cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Then the cooperation between the two SAIs ratified by the signing of MoU on 5 November 2015 when ASEANSAI Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Objectives
To strengthen, improve and develop the cooperation framework and the efficiency of the interrelationships between BPK and SAO in the field of auditing public sector on the basis of similarity and benefit of both SAIs.
