Common Forum of Technical Experts for INTOSAI's Framework of Professional Standards
In October 2015, the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) secured a place for its official in the membership of the Common Forum of Technical Experts for INTOSAI's Framework of Professional Standards (hereinafter referred as the Common Forum). Novy Gregory Antonius Pelenkahu (an Advisor to BPK) is among the 16 members successfully selected by the INTOSAI's Professional Standards Committee (PSC), Capacity Building Committee (CBC), and Knowledge Sharing Committee (KSC) through a series of qualification tests.
The establishment of the Common Forum was decided by the 66th INTOSAI Governing Board meeting in 2014. The Forum will work for an initial 2-year period until the permanence of its existence is decided at the December 2016's International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI). During the transition period, the Common Forum is primarily tasked to consider and propose how the ISSAI Framework can be further developed.
