The Working Group on Audit of Extractive Industries (WGAEI)
The Working Group on Audit of Extractive Industries (WGAEI) was established during the 64th INTOSAI Governing Board in Beijing, China on October 2013 before being endorsed during the XXI INCOSAI Meeting during the same time.
WGAEI was established to improve the SAI's capacity in performing the audit on extractive industries through formal forum to collect, share and create new knowledge on the extractive industries audit.
BPK joined the WGAEI on November 2013, a month after it was established. During its membership, BPK has involved in several activities such mapping survey on the audits performed on extractive industries sector and survey on training needs related to extractive industries audit.
