Background
This cooperation is part of the STAR Project (foreign aid), which already took place in the period 1998 - 2006. On April 10, 2013, BPK hold bilateral meetings with OAG NZ in the Office of the Auditor General of New South Wales, Australia, at the same with a series of events the Australasian Council of Auditors General (ACAG) and the Australasian Council of Public Accounts Committees (ACPAC). This meeting aims to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the two sides. This meeting spawned a notula meeting with a few grains of bilateral agreements.
Objectives
To strengthen and build the capacity of BPK auditors in the field of financial audit through the exchange of information and audit experience.
Area and Form of Cooperation
a. Training or secondment and assistance for the preparation of financial audit guidance.
b. The internship program (secondment) in audit process for senior auditors of BPK,
c. Implementation of workshops, seminars and technical assistance from the OAG NZ, exchange of information on contract management of public sector accountant firm.
