State Audit Office of Vietnam
Background
On May 24, 2011 Chairman of BPK conducted a meeting with Auditor General of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) at the Central Office of BPK in Jakarta. At that time Chairman of BPK accompanied by Member I of BPK, Moermahadi Soerjadjanegara, and Member III of BPK, Hasan Bisri, as well as Member V of BPK, Sapto Amal Damandari. One result of the Memorandum of Meeting which was signed by the Chairman of BPK and Auditor General of SAV is to hold a bilateral cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The signing of the MoU was held in Nusa Dua, Bali on November 15, 2011 by the Chairman of BPK, Hadi Purnomo, and Chairman of the SAV, Dinh Tien Dung.
Objectives
To strengthen, improve and develop the cooperation framework and the efficiency of the interrelationships between BPK and SAV in the field of auditing public sector on the basis of similarity and benefit of both SAIs.
