The Account Court of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria
Background
Cooperation between BPK with The Account Court of the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria (ACRA) initiated by the results of Board Members of BPK Meeting No. XXXVI on 23 September 2008, where Board Members of BPK receives proposals bilateral cooperation proposed by ACRA.
As a follow-up results of the Board Members of BPK Meeting, BPK send its delegates to do a scoping mission to ACRA on 24 to 27 April 2009, followed by the signing of the MoU between BPK and ACRA on 27 April 2009.
Objectives
To strengthen, improve and develop the cooperation framework and the efficiency of the interrelationships between BPK and ACRA in the field of auditing public sector on the basis of similarity and benefit of both SAIs.
Area of Cooperation
The exchange of information, knowledge and expertise in the field of:
a. Method of calculating the loss of state, as well as in the field of the Assembly of Treasury, including the Assembly of Treasury at the Representative Office;
b. Internal control;
c. Training and research program;
d. International relations;
e. Environmental audit.
