The Audit Court Account of the Kingdom of Morocco
Background
Cooperation between BPK with The Audit Court Account of the Kingdom of Morocco (ACCAM) initiated by the results of Board Members of BPK Meeting No. XXXVI on 23 September 2008, where Board Members of BPK receives proposals bilateral cooperation proposed by ACRA Algeria. This was followed by request from Board Members of BPK to propose a bilateral cooperation with SAI of Morocco and SAI of Tunisia.
As a follow-up results of the Board Members of BPK Meeting, BPK send its delegates to do a scoping mission to ACCAM on 25 to 29 April 2009, followed by the signing of the MoU between BPK and ACCAM on 30 April 2009.
Objectives
To strengthen, improve and develop the cooperation framework and the efficiency of the interrelationships between BPK and ACCAM in the field of auditing public sector on the basis of similarity and benefit of both SAIs.
Area of Cooperation
a. Legal aspects of audit;
b. Developments in the field of Quality Assurance;
Sharing of information and experience in the field of performance audit on infrastructure, agriculture, education, human resource management, education, privatization, Financial Institutions (including the Central Bank and the state-owned bank), Hajj, as well as audit on Information Technology.
