The Court of Account of Tunisia
Background
Cooperation between BPK with The Court of Account of Tunisia (CAT) initiated by the results of Board Members of BPK Meeting No. XXXVI on 23 September 2008, where Board Members of BPK receives proposals bilateral cooperation proposed by ACRA Algeria. This was followed by request from Board Members of BPK to propose a bilateral cooperation with SAI of Morocco and SAI of Tunisia.
As a follow-up results of the Board Members of BPK Meeting, BPK send its delegates to do a scoping mission to CAT on 9 to 13 April 2009, followed by the signing of the MoU between BPK and CAT on 24 April 2009.
Objectives
To strengthen, improve and develop the cooperation framework and the efficiency of the interrelationships between BPK and SAI of Norway in the field of auditing public sector on the basis of similarity and benefit of both SAIs.
Area of Cooperation
The exchange of information, knowledge and expertise in the field of:
a. Method of calculating the loss of state, as well as in the field of the Assembly of Treasury, including the Assembly of Treasury at the Representative Office;
b. Application of the Quality Assurance System;
c. Human Resource Management Plan;
d. Sustainable Training Program;
e. Improvement of Public Awareness on Public Sector Audit; and
Program evaluation.
