As the Chairman of the INTOSAI WGEA, the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) attended the 67th INTOSAI Governing Board Meeting from November 10 to 11, 2015 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. BPK’s delegates were headed by the Chairman, Harry Azhar Azis, who was accompanied by the Principal Auditor IV,Saiful Anwar Nasution, the Head of Public Relations and International Cooperation, Raden Yudi Ramdan Budiman, and a staff of the INTOSAI, ASOSAI and ASEANSAI Subdivision. As the Chairman of the INTOSAI WGEA, the BPK’s Chairman reported the working group’s achievements and the formulation process of the working plan for the period of 2017-2022 to members of the INTOSAI Governing Board.
Attended by 105 participants from 33 SAIs, the meeting aims at reporting activity/project progresses of INTOSAI’s committees, subcommittees, the working group and task forces, to members of the Governing Board. It also aims at discussing the theme of the XXII INCOSAI Meeting 2016 in Abu Dhabi.
In the meantime, the BPK’s Chairman held a meeting with the Chairman of the SAI of Brazil to discuss the plan of the conduct of the INTOSAI WGEA Assembly Meeting 2017. The BPK’s Chairman also met delegates of the SAI of India and discussed the BPK’s preparation as the IAEA’s external auditor replacing the SAI of India.
