​​​post_1432619448_Untitled.jpgIn order to strengthen the performance audit practices, BPK was invited by the United States Government Accountability Office (US-GAO) to understand more about how the US-GAO works and develops its role in conducting performance audit. The activity was supported by the USAID under the program themed “Strengthening Integrity and Accountability Program I (SIAP I)."

The Chairman of BPK, Dr. Harry Azhar Azis headed the Indonesian delegate, accompanied with the Vice Chairman,Sapto Amal Damandari, the Board Member V, Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara, the Head of Planning, Evaluation and Development Directorate, Bahtiar Arif, the Head of Public Relations and International Cooperation Bureau, Yudi Ramdan, the Head of Education and Training Center, Dwi Setiawan, the Division Head of Planning, Evaluation and Reporting, Yusuf John, and Multilateral Cooperation staf, Kartika.

For five days, starting from May 18 to 22, 2015, BPK conducted some discussions with the US GAO and several Ministries namely Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Labor, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health and Human Recources, as well as the US Congress.

The three main agenda of the meeting are maritime issues, social welfare and its relation to the Parliament, and the practice and report of the performance audit.
